Advisory Council
The purpose of the Advisory Council is to:
- Advise and make recommendations to the area agency staff and board of directors relating to the development and administration of the area plan
- Provide information about the attitudes, needs and opinions of older people
- Serve as an advocate for older people and as a source for community education; and
- Assist with obtaining new resources for programs for the elderly and assist with any other duties required by the agency.
