Disaster Preparedness

A natural disaster is an event caused by natural forces of nature that often has a significant effect on human populations.

Hurricane season for Florida residents starts on June 1 and lasts until November 30. During this time, Florida residents need to stay informed about any and all tropical storms and hurricanes that are forming in the Atlantic Ocean or The Gulf of Mexico.
