Advisory Council

The Advisory Council of the Northwest Florida Area Agency on Aging, Inc. is established to: Provide advice and recommendations to the area agency staff and board of directors on matters pertaining to the development of the Area Plan and the administration thereof; Through personal observation and review of available data, provide information to the area agency staff about the attitudes, needs and opinions of older people in the geographic area served by the agency; Serve as an advocate for programs for older people and as a source for community education about such programs; assist in obtaining new resources for the elderly; and perform such other duties as may be assigned by the agency board or staff.
