Director's Message

dottie

The transition into an aging resource center promises many changes in the aging network, which will hopefully work to improve the quality of life for our seniors.  However, we are ever-mindful that even with these positive innovations, we still will not meet the needs of many elders who are unable to help themselves.  So we shall continue our efforts to find ways to increase the services and information provided to the senior citizens of Northwest Florida.

Fortunately, there are many dedicated individuals in our aging network who work hard to help us accomplish this goal!  By combining our efforts and creativity, we can- and will, make it all come together.  Surely, this forthcoming year, like this year, will have its share of surprises and frustrations, achievements and success. It will be a challenge that we all look forward to.

It is important that we, who are involved in serving Florida’s elders, whether as paid staff of as volunteers, evaluate our progress and ser our course for the future.  We have come far but we have far to go.  The best part of all is that we can choose to go on TOGETHER.

Dorothy Peoples
Executive Director
